Typography

Setting the type

We keep the text left-aligned because it's the most readable. We use centred text only as an exception and in specific cases, for headlines or lists.

We set the maximum line length of body text between 45 and 75 characters per line (including spaces) to ensure optimal readability.

Azo Sans is our primary typeface

Azo Sans is a geometric grotesque sans serif typeface, inspired by the constructivist typefaces of the 1920s but instilled with a humanistic quality.

We use it for everything that is not a google doc or google slide. Examples of use include branding, sales enablement materials, social media creatives.

Azo Sans comes in six weights, and we use Bold for headers in most cases. Headers in Bold use a -30 tracking setting, with additional individual kerning when we need to do some optical adjustments for readability.

We use Medium for subheaders and body copy highlights, with a -30 tracking setting.

Light and Regular weights are used for body copy, depending on medium and rendered type size.

Montserrat is our secondary typeface

Montserrat is an open source font inspired by the urban typography that emerged in the first half of the twentieth century in the Montserrat neighbourhood of Buenos Aires.

We use it across internal documentation in google docs, presentations and google slides.

Montserrat comes in several weights, we use Light, Normal and Bold mostly.
